Hurricane Jeanne now a threat to Florida

MIAMI After causing more than a thousand deaths in Haiti, forecasters say Hurricane Jeanne (jeen) is now a threat to Florida.Experts at the National Hurricane Center say that steering currents are now pushing Jeanne westward, after the system meandered around for several days. They say the storm poses a threat to much of Florida's east coast this weekend.
Jeanne is now about 450 miles east of Great Abaco Island in the Bahamas, moving west at five miles-per-hour. It's packing 105 mile-per-hour winds.
